General Chapter 2024

The upcoming General Chapter will be attended by 173 capitulars, representatives of Capuchin friars operating in more than 100 countries around the world. In addition to the capitular friars, there will be about 45 friars who will be in charge of various services: translators, technicians, liturgists, secretaries, fraternal services, etc. The General Chapter is an event for the whole Order, not just the friars present in Rome. Today, thanks to technology, communication has become faster, easier and more accessible. That is why we want to inform you about how it will be possible to participate from around the world in the next General Chapter.

Several communication channels and tools are available to you, namely:

1. Website. During the Chapter all news will be published in 6 languages every day on the Chapter website  and the Order website .
2. OFMCap Mobile Application. The easiest way is to use our OFMCap mobile application available for Android, Apple iOS and Windows. That way notifications about news will come to you automatically as soon as it is posted on the site. If you are not yet using our free app, we encourage you to download it.
3. YouTube: We will try to provide a video every day that will show the life and activity of the Chapter through pictures, interviews and daily summaries. All our videos can be found on the YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ofmcaptv and will also be made available on our sites of both the Chapter and the Order. There is also the option to subscribe to automatically receive notifications about new publications.
4. Each day we will also provide many images that will be in our gallery on the Flickr  platform, https://www.flickr.com/photos/ofmcap_org/albums/.
