Common Novitiate in Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico

On July 3, 2022, the common novitiate for Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico began in Ocotepeque, Honduras, where brothers from eight different Custodies began their journey together entering a new collaboration for the various stages of formation. The opening celebration which launched the novitiate was marked by very simple rites, but loaded with meaningful symbols of our charism. Superiors from the various custodies that make up this new venture were present at the celebration. “We want to start this journey together to unite under the standards posed by the Ratio Formationis, and may it serve to encourage us to further collaborate on future initiatives,” commented Br. José Angel Torres, Vicar General, who was present at the celebration.

A total of twelve brothers are beginning this journey; we pray that the Holy Spirit will enlighten them, and that this collaboration will enrich the Order for years to come.
