Professor Luca Bianchi OFMCap new vice-rector of the Pontifical University Antonianum
On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, the General Minister of the Order of Friars Minor and Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical University Antonianum, Fr. Michael Anthony Perry, OFM, appointed Professor Luca Bianchi, OFMCap as vice-rector for a three-year term 2020-2023.
Born in Busto Arsizio on August 30, 1961, Prof. Bianchi is dean of the Franciscan Institute of Spirituality; among other things he published Monasteri: Icon of the celestial world. The spiritual theology of Gregorio Palamas and treatment of Saint Augustine in the Western and Eastern Christian tradition.
The academic community of the Pontifical University Antonianum congratulates the new vice-rector, and wishes him great success in his work.
