2019 Advent Day of Recollection

Rome. Once again this year, on Monday of the first week of Advent, the General Curia fraternity gathered for a day of recollection. This year, it was lead by a member of the community, Br. Reniero Cantalamessa, OFM Cap, Preacher of the Papal Household, who invited the confreres to reflect on holiness at the beginning of this significant time (first conference) and then on the Magnificat of Mary (second conference) which sums up the season’s meaning in the liturgy.
With Fr. Reniero’s permission, we are able to offer audio recordings of these conferences to the friars (in Italian, of course) as well as his homily during the mass.
